Customization & Special Services

We offer customization on climbing shoes to provide climbers with shoes that fit their specific needs and help raise their climbing to a higher level. We can make modifications to our existing models of shoes to fit you more comfortably or add options to turbo-charge the performance to your liking.

We also sell different size shoes and offer resole services.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS

1. Adjustable stiffness and sensitivity - We can adjust the stiffness and sensitivity of your shoe according to your climbing style and route/problem preference by changing the stiffness of the midsole.
  • Climbers who like steep, overhanging routes or wish to feel the rock will like a sensitive midsole while climbers who like extra support and edging power may prefer a stiffer midsole.
  • Choose the EG stiff midsole option for a stiffer shoe and powerful edging.
2. SUPER toe rand - We can add on a strip of rand rubber to the top of the toes
  • Protection of upper and padding for toes when doing crack-climbing or toe-hooking
  • Choose the SR rand option.

 
3. Other special needs -If you have other special needs like bone growths or painful pressure points we might be able to help you. Please contact us to see if we can help you.
 
NOTE: Customized shoes are non-returnable. We suggest these options for customers who know exactly what size they wear in EVOLV shoes. You may also add custom options when you resole your EVOLV shoes.

SPECIAL SERVICES

Different size shoes sale - YES! We sell different size shoes.
  • We will split up our pairs and sell you different size shoes. Not everyone has evenly sized feet. That's right! You're not weird just because one foot is larger than the other. With athletic shoes, the difference may not be noticeable, however, with tight climbing shoes the fit of your shoes can make a significant difference in comfort and performance.
  • No longer do you have to endure a painful fit on one foot or starve for a week to buy two pairs of shoes. Imagine having a pair of shoes that fit you perfectly on BOTH feet!
  • A reasonable extra charge of $20 will apply. It will be worth every penny!
  • NOTE: When sending your odd sized shoes to us for resole services, please make sure to inform us of the different sizes so that we can restore the odd-sized fit perfectly.
2. Resole Services - We make our shoes, so we can fix them better than any company!
We are the only climbing shoe company that offers complete after-service on climbing shoes. We can restore your EVOLV shoes with original parts and restore them to excellent condition.
3. Resole Coupon - With every EVOLV shoe purchase and product registration, you will receive a service coupon that can be applied to a resole with us. This lowers the net price of your purchase.
